Yarn Natural dyes

Blue indigotin will not dissolve in water and other ordinary solvents. This is fine for use in paintings where the indigotin is simply ground up into pieces with water or oil to make ink and paint.

1. Blues : Indigo leaves

2. Greens : Mango bark , Indian Almond bark , Neem leaves , Cassia leaves

3. Yellows : Jackfruit wood , Mango leaves , Tumeric , Indian trumpet lower

4. Red/Pink : Lac , Sappan wood

5. Brown : Kapok bark , Coconut bark , Raintree

6. Grey : Malayana Olive

7. Black : Ebony fruits
